Shockproof™ School Lockers with Trespa® Laminate Doors

A high specification Probe Shockproof™ steel school locker with Trespa® 10mm solid grade laminate inset doors which are impact, scratch, graffiti, wear, heat and moisture resistant.

Produced to high BS standards and specifications, designed and manufactured in the UK.

These high quality steel lockers have: -

• A welded compartment divider which incorporates internal door sill for added security.

• 5 Knuckle hinges offering 270 degree opening allowing easy access while keeping the contents secure. 

• High quality Die Cast securing plate clamps the door to the hinge giving added strength for the toughest environments.

• A coating of Activecoat® anti-bacterial technology which is 99.9% effective against MRSA, E-Coli and bacteria.

Trespa® 10mm solid laminate doors: -

Impact resistance
The combination of a solid, homogenous core with a hard surface based on melamine resins gives Trespa Athlon exceptional impact resistance. This is confirmed by its day to day practical use as wall cladding in public rooms and room susceptible to vandalism, or as bumper rails in hospital corridors.

Scratch resistance
The special surface structure and durability provide excellent scratch resistance. Even in heavy duty use, Trespa Athlon retains its appearance for a very long time. The panel is highly resistant to wear, making it ideal for installation where heavy use and frequent cleaning are expected.

Moisture resistant
Trespa Athlon is not adversely affected by moisture and is not susceptible to discolouration, mould or rot. Both the surface and the core are manufactured using specific, thermosetting resins, which make them impervious to moisture.

Safe fire behaviour
Trespa Athlon is heat resistant and meets the requirements of national and international fire classifications for safe fire behaviour. Due to the high density Trespa Athlon ignites at relatively high temperatures and carbonises in a way similar to hardwood. The choice to use either standard modified panels or fire-retardant modified (FR) panels depends on the nature and intended use of the building project. National and/ or regional fire regulations are decisive in this respect.

Environmental considerations
Life cycle analysis and reports by independent third parties confirm that Trespa products impact the environment less than alternative materials. Trespa International was one of the first producers of panel material to be certified according to ISO 14001, awarded by Lloyd's Register which describes the steps required for setting up, implementing, maintaining and improving a completely integrated Environmental Management System - invest in all our futures.

Lock options - a versatile range ensuring a locker that is suited to your environment: -

• Standard, included in price, 10 micro sprung disc lock with a massive 3000 serial combinations.
• Attractively designed hasp and staple, included in price if requested on order, allowing easy use of padlock (not supplied).
• Digital combination lock, at extra cost, simple to program and use, it has in excess of 40,000 combinations. No more lost keys! Batteries last up to 15,000 user operations. (Includes built in master code)
• Coin/ token return/ retain, at extra cost, available with coin denominations of pound, euro or token for either return or retain.
• Re- programmable combination lock, at extra cost, easy to use front facing dial with 10,000 combinations. One Service key required per installation. (Sold separately).

Colours - non stock - subject to minimum quantity of 100 doors
A further 10 plain colours, 4 wood grain effect and 6 patterned finishes - the possibilities are endless!

Non stock colours are subject to a minimum order of 100 doors and we would recommend extra should be ordered in case of damages in future - this is due to the fact that non stock colours need to be ordered from the factory in large sheets before being cut down and ensures more accurate colour matching - contact us if you require more information.

Ordering
To keep things simple you may order 3 or 4 tier lockers in stock colours. Since there are so many options we recommend an on site survey to ensure you maximise space and budget, see below.

Are subject to a minimum order 1 tier - 25 for stock colours, 100 for non stock colours, 2 tier - 50 for stock colours, 100 for non stock colours - please 'phone.

• Aluminium number disk cut into door.
• Engraving of door with letter or number.
