Conditions relating specifically to Donators

1 If you donate your old, used, redundant or surplus items to Zoot to take advantage of the currently free used furniture disposal service, we will do our best to have your items collected. However, we cannot guarantee this on all occasions. Collection is dependent on several factors including what it is you need to dispose of, the time scale you have allowed for doing so, how much you need to dispose of, the condition of the items to be collected and whether or not Zoot can find a charity, foundation, organisation, company or individual that is willing to collect within any time constraints you may have.

2 Whilst Zoot have placed unwanted items within 24 hours we are not miracle workers and would recommend allowing as much time as possible to aid a successful collection, ideally informing us at the same time as you plan to buy new furniture. This gives you the best chance of a successful, cost-less and timely collection. (I.e. Old items will be collected after delivery of your new items ensuring you aren’t without crucial equipment.)

3 Donators Fees: This service is currently free of charge. Although Zoot Office Furniture does not currently charge Donators any fees to access the Site or use their services, it reserves its right to do so in the future. You do not have to buy new furniture and equipment from Zoot to take advantage of this free service, but we would request that where possible you include us in your quotation process. This has the potential to make you further savings and drives down the ‘Whole Cost of Life’  for all your purchases. Please contact Zoot for further details.

(a) you are representing an office/ educational establishment that is established in the United Kingdom;

(b) the items you are donating are physically located in the United Kingdom at the time of collection.

In any event, you represent and warrant to Zoot Educational Furniture that the item(s) is(are) safe.

You will audit the products that you have donated on a regular basis whilst you wait for collection to ensure ongoing compliance with this obligation. You will also advise us of any age or other restrictions that apply to the collection of any products that you donate.

5 By agreeing to donate an item(s) to Zoot Educational Furniture and/ or the Available Used School Furniture section you authorise Zoot Educational Furniture to give your contact details to both the successful Collector and trusted third-party supplier (i.e. transport company, shipping container company), in order that the services can be provided.

8 Zoot Educational Furniture will not be held responsible for any delay or failure of collection under these conditions including when the delay or failure arises from any cause or event which is beyond our reasonable control.

9 Zoot Educational Furniture reserve the right to charge fees to the Donator where expense has been incurred in carrying out the Donators instructions to make a collection and the Donator has subsequently cancelled or made substantial amendments to the original quantities to be collected. Most of this work is carried out to specifically cater to your requirements and deadlines, third party services will have been booked to facilitate collection and we therefore cannot accept cancellations or amendments except with our written consent and on our terms, which will indemnify Zoot against loss. Cancelled collections may therefore incur a fee where applicable.
